About Appointments

Most appointments last for 50 to 60 minutes, although the first one will be longer as I will need to take a full medical history and also to discuss in detail what you are looking for. During the appointment I will use whatever combination of acupuncture, Tui Na (Chinese massage) or other treatments are appropriate, after discussing the options with you.

Costs and Payment

The charge is £40 for each standard appointment, or £55 for the initial consultation (which includes your first treatment). You can pay on the day by cash, cheque, credit/debit card or direct bank transfer.

Shorter (30-40 minute) appointments are available for Tui Na only, for which the charge is £30.

Please note that appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are chargeable in full.

Some private health insurers will cover the cost: the British Acupuncture Council has an up-to-date list here, but you should check with your own insurer.

How to Book

You can make contact by phone or email – see the Contact page for details.

Or book yourself at our online booking site.

Your First Appointment

The first consultation will take longer than the others – please allow up to 90 minutes.

I will go through a detailed medical history with you. Please bring information about any medication that you may be taking at present.

Not Sure?

If you’re not sure whether acupuncture is right for you, or you’d like to find out more before going ahead, then I’d be delighted to have a free, no-obligation chat with you by phone or in person. Just get in touch and we can arrange a conversation at a time to suit you.
